PRODUCT RELATED QUESTIONS

What compression level do I need? The best person to answer this question is your Doctor, Lymphoedema Nurse or MLD Professional. Speaking to a health professional first before wearing compression garments is always recommended.

Can I get any of your garments on prescription? Sorry, none of the garments we sell can be obtained from prescription services.  Don't forget, for those that are eligible, we will send you a VAT Relief form for you to sign and send back to us, and we will then refund you the VAT element in the price of the goods.  Please note this is only available on the Lymphedivas/Lymphedudes garments.

I have received my goods from you but they look extremely small, have I ordered the correct size? As long as you have measured yourself correctly and used the correct size chart, they will fit you. Compression garments look small because after they have stretched around the body, they need to compress the body in all the right places. The Silver Wave line look exceptionally small when you take them out of the box, however, they are made with very stretchy yarns, to stretch and cling, again, as long as you have measured correctly and ordered the correct size, they will fit.

What is the life expectancy of these garments? Elasto-compression garments should ideally be replaced every 6 months, although the garments are known to last much longer than this (whenever you feel like the squeeze has diminished).

What is graduated compression? The gradual pressure that is exerted on the body. It is gradual because it gives most pressure at the wrist, and gets less and less, as it goes up the Arm (or most squeeze at the ankle, which gets less and less up the length of the leg). This gradual pressure helps push blood flow from the outer extremities, back into the Veins, and back towards the Heart to promote a healthy blood circulation and lymphatic flow.

Do the Lymphediva Gloves and Gauntlets have a Diva Diamond Band? No. They may feel looser at the wrist so that when they are worn with a Sleeve, you don't get a double compression at the wrist.

I am trying to log back into my account, but the automated password you have sent me is not working, what can I do?

Because 'I's', '1's' and 'L's' all look very similar, it is easy to make a typing error when trying to type in the password. Please copy and paste the password (no space before or after it), rather than trying to type it. If this still does not work, please contact us and a member of our customer service team will help.

I have forgotten my password, but the automated email arrived too late, how can I resolve this?

Please contact us at the office, a member of our customer service team will help.

There appears to be buttons/text/images that are missing, is there something wrong with the website?

When images or text are missing, this is usually due to your browser being an older version. Our website is designed to operate with the most recent versions of all popular browsers via different devices. Please udate your browser or use a different device or computer. If you still experience issues, please contact us. Alternatively, we are able to take orders over the phone.

I don't have a Paypal account, can I still pay online?

You do not need to have a Paypal account to use Paypal. You can sign in as a guest user. You will have to read the Paypal pages very carefully, as it is not always obvious to see. Alternatively, you can pay by credit/debit card through the Barclaycard EPDQ payment provider, you do not need a Barclaycard to use this.
